[PROSPECT] Mini Masters 2026 - Painting Competition

Mini Masters 2026 is a celebration of miniature painting, bringing together hobbyists, competitors, and enthusiasts of all skill levels for a full weekend of creativity and community. Whether you're entering your work, learning new techniques, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

At the heart of the event is the Mini Masters Painting Competition, where participants can submit models across a wide range of categories. With the freedom to enter multiple categories and models, it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your work, challenge yourself, and be part of a growing painting community.

Throughout the weekend, a series of expert-led masterclasses will offer hands-on learning experiences designed to help painters refine their skills. Covering a variety of techniques and styles, these sessions provide valuable insights from experienced presenters and are suitable for both beginners and advanced painters.

For those looking for a fast-paced challenge, our speed painting events deliver high-energy, timed competitions where participants put their skills to the test in a fun and supportive environment.

CATEGORIES:

Small Scale (Under 54mm) 

Any smaller scale figure, whether on a gaming base or a plinth.  

Large Scale (54mm and over) 

All figures 54mm and over go into this category. This includes 75mm scale full figures, and largescale Warhammer models such as cavalry and monsters.   

Squad  

A unit of 3-10 figures that are presented as a collected entry. This collection does not need to be a legal gaming unit, but should be cohesive and represent the same faction, army, team, gang, warband, etc. These should be mounted on a collected base - either a plinth, or a tray - in order to facilitate safe handling.   

Eg. All ultramarines, all Goliath, all PanOceania are all acceptable. An example ultramarine squad could be simply three Bladeguard Veterans - or it could be a Bladeguard, a Captain, and a Chaplain. 

Open - Bust/Duel/Diorama (Any Category) 

This is an open category to showcase your artistic skill and creativity with no limits on models, scale or size. Dioramas, vignettes, duels, busts, and anything else that doesn't fit into the mold of the categories above should be entered here. 

Junior 

Category for all entrants aged 16 and under. There are no restrictions on entries.
